A local antique store was robbed last night. Several pieces of antique teak furniture were stolen. As local police were combing the store for clues this morning, state police were recovering the stolen merchandise. A tractor trailer was pulled over for speeding. When the driver was unable to produce any paperwork regarding the contents of the load, police searched the trailer and found the furniture. How the teak pieces got from the store into the trailer is unknown, as the store is located along a back alley, in which the tractor trailer would not have been able to maneuver. Whether the occupant of the tractor trailer was the thief or not was also unknown. Anyone with information regarding the incident are asked to contact police.
