New cars always have a manufacturer’s warranty. This is a contract between the car’s manufacturer and the buyer, assuring the latter that the new car has no defect. Most manufacturer’s warranty are good for 36,000 miles or 3 years, whichever comes first. Covered by the manufacturer’s car warranty are replacement parts, labor and repair. Another warranty for new cars is the adjustment warranty, which is given by the car dealers. This warranty covers all parts of the car, but is only good for 90 days at most.
