Countries which recognize the CE mark such as those in Latin America, Asia and in the European Union now have offered to them the Biomatrix CE mark drug-eluting stent system.Bloomberg: BIG SP, Company or Biosensors have received Conformite Europeenne (CE) Mark approval for its BioMatrix(R)drug-eluting stent system, allowing for exposure to the public in the Europe and Asia and Latin America. 

This biodegradable polymer and drug, Biolimus decreases the chance of re-narrowing of the arteries following stent implantation.Terumo Corporation (Terumo), a licensee of Biosensors' BioMatrix technology, also announced CE Mark approval for its NOBORI(TM) drug-eluting stent system.
