Gauging Your Mileage
Filed Under Autos & Trucks :: Maintenance | Leave a Comment
No matter how many times I talk to him about his mileage allowance, he refuses to keep up and keep track. He says he doesn’t have the time or the organizational skills to do so. I can’t do it for him, but I am getting very upset with him. If it was his own car, it would be his own problem, and he could skip the mileage allowance if he wanted to. However, it’s our car, not his. I wish he would think about things like this before he rams around town for his company at my expense.I can’t complain about this company though. They have been very good to us, and it’s not their fault that he won’t take the time to write down and keep track of the mileage allowance. They certainly shouldn’t do it, and wouldn’t really have a way to do it anyway. They offer it to him, and that is all they need to do. If he would take the time to take care of it and get the money that is due to him, we could put it away towards yet another car.
I'm sure he'll have the same mentality when it comes to hypermiling driving tricks and modifications, as the first step in fuel conservation could be gauging your mileage.

Lemon Laws

Enough is enough. Time to take advantage of the local lemon laws. I’m not going to get stuck with a worthless piece of trash for the amount of money I paid. I’m sick and tired of being jerked around.
All the Used Car Lemon Laws are on my side, here. This dealer doesn’t have a leg to stand on. I’m going to eat him for breakfast in court, and he’ll have no one but himself to blame.
One thing is for sure - I’ll never be doing business this this guy again, or anyone else at that place, for that matter.

Indeed, polypropylene rv cover needlework by the ladies has a long history. A visitor to Badminton House in Gloucestershire in the 1680's remarked upon the "princely way of living" of its owners, Henry Somerset (1629-1700) and his wife Mary Capel (1630-1715), the first duke and duchess of Beaufort:The ordinary pastime of the ladies was in a gallery where she the duchess had divers gentlewomen commonly at work upon embroidery and fringe-making; for all the beds of state were made and finished in the house. It also has been stated that "English Queens, in particular, have been noted for their skill in embroidery from Aelgiltha, wife of King Canute, down to the late Queen Mary." However, excesses were not unknown. One exasperated husband complained in 1758 that "we have twice as many fire screens as chimneys," thanks to his wife, who kept their daughters incessantly at work with the needle.

The manufacturer of rv supplies claims that two persons can erect a building by using scaffolding for putting the roof trusses in place. A building that will hold a large RV with room to spare is about $5,000. Camper Pampers are flexible fabric covers manufactured by Custom Cover Co. The covers are available in two fabrics: Sunbrella, a rot- and mildew-resistant acrylic, and Technalon, a polypropylene material. Both fabrics are water-repellant, but breathe enough to allow condensation to escape. For installation, the cover is laid on the ground behind the RV, and then the front of the cover is lifted to the roof and carried to the front of the RV where it is arranged so the sides hang properly. The weight of the cover is a little less than two pounds per linear foot. Sturdy elastic allows the cover to be securely attached under the RV.

Alright, the car I just bought is a total rip-off, and it’s time to check out the local lemon laws. The dealer is telling me I’m out of luck, but I’m not about to let them foist this pig off on me.
I’ve researched the particular Used Car Lemon LawS that are applicable in this case, and I’m confident that I can win. I’m not about to take this lying down.
